Im a newbie

Insurance Question If anyone knows anything about insurance, I would appreciate the help. When you turn in all of your records and letters to the bariatic doctor, and they send them to the insurance company. What does the insurance company do? Do they contact your PCP, do they send copies of everything to your PCP? If you can answer those questions, I would appreciate it. Thanks

Hi Michelle, I don't know for sure your insurance company would send copies to your PCP. It may vary between all the different insurance companies/policies but I don't believe my insurance sent anything to my PCP. Try calling your insurance company's customer service number....they should be able to tell you their procedures. Chris
