I can't concentrate on my work, or my work at home, my house is a mess all because I'm going crazy. I won't be around for my surgery I'll be in Western State. Did anyone else go thru this turmol? char

Hey Charlotte, Waiting is the worst part! I remember my waiting and it was filled with excitement, nervousness, and anticipation. Before you know it, you'll be on the losers bench, wondering where time went. Hang in there-- Dee

Hi Char, Don't worry, the waiting will go by quickly with all of the pre-op tests you'll be going through! Just concentrate on gathering all of the information you can to help you after surgery, like recipes, protein selections, start sending for protein samples to have handy for afterwards, no point in trying samples now since you will have different tastes afterwards, start gathering your things for the hospital and have them ready. Another thing you could do is visit your thrift stores/consignment shops and start getting some smaller sized things here and there, you'll be dropping like crazy and then you'll already have some things all ready! I'm a huge believer in pre-planning, can you tell? It pays off believe me! But better yet, it will help to pass the time away! Good luck and God Bless! Cindy

Hi Charlotte, I thought I would go crazy too with the waiting, but honestly it hasn't been that bad. I am scheduled to have my surgery May 16th. I've waited 2 months since the doctors office gave me the surgery date. I try to keep myself busy with reading and re-reading everything my doctor has given me on what I need to do after my surgery. Just try to keep yourself busy and just think good thoughts, your time will also pass very quick. Vivian
