Dr. Wheeler of Ashland Ky

Has anyone had Dr. Wheeler of Ashland KY? I'm thinking of having him has my doctor. Also, has anyone got approved because of their Thryoid? I have hypothyroid and didnt know if this would hurt my chances or help it?

I just had the lap band on April 5, 2007. I had Wheeler - great doctor. He can seem a little lacking in the bedside manner department, but he knows his stuff. I'd recommend him. As for the thyroid issue, I think it will help your chances because that's something that's contributing to your weight. The KDMC weight loss program staff is OK - I'd probably rate them a 5 out of 10. I felt like they were talking down to me when I was in the various interviews - nutrition, psych, etc. But that's a necessary part of the program and I just had to deal with it.
