My surgery was Monday with Dr Steiner. He was great!! Everything went very smooth and uneventful. I got to come home yesterday about 1030am. I am movin very slow and still very sore, but the gas is worse then ever. I am sure it will pass soon and I will be back to normal ASAP. I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Welcome to the losing side!!! The gas will get better each day. I didn't have the gas with my rny but I chose open. I did have the gas with my lap gall bladder surgery years ago. It was horrible. Take care of yourself and let us know if u need anything! Congrats and best Wishes Ange
