dr steiner people

is anyone going to be at dr steiners on may 21 i have my 1 year check up i would love to meet anyone if there going to be there tina

I'm not a Dr. Steiner patient, but I did have to transfer to that group of Drs. because my original surgeon (Bolar) moved to Tennessee. I was actually wondering if anyone else was going there, because I had a couple of questions....lol. First off, do you know what the deal is with the $250 "fee" for the program? Do you have to actually pay that to be able to call and talk to the nurses and stuff? I already have an old support group I talk to, and have seen dieticians and nutritionists...I don't understand that. I went there and they could only get me in with Dr. Greenlee last week...I'm 4 yrs post op and was wanting to see how bad my stoma had stretched (I've been told it has stretched "some", but don't know if it is what is hindering my weightloss and has caused some fairly major weight gain...aside from being a vegetarian who is lactose intolerant, lol.) I'm supposed to be getting an upper-GI tomorrow actually, and I'm almost afraid it won't do me any good...I feel like if something is mechanically wrong w/ my surgery, other surgeons will be afraid to touch me, and give the old "You've lost 100 lbs...be lucky you've lost that...just talk to our nutritionist and eat protein!" speech. Is their group of Dr's like that? I really want one who will do a revision and not make me go back to the old-fashioned dieting if something is wrong with my pouch. =/ (Sorry that was long, and didn't answer your question...I am just nervous about tomorrow.)

hi amanda i had to pay the program fee to i have talked to other people who came from dr bolar with alot of problems and they have tacken care of them all the dr at the weight loss center are great i like them very much i hope every thing goes ok let me now how it goes im sure they will do whats best for u wow 100 pounds is great and it has been 4 years good luck tomorrow keep in touch . tina start goal now 228 138 113
