WOW Moment
WOW moment
Well Saturday was 3 months from the day of my surgery. I decided I was tired of my shirts falling off my shoulders and my bra strap falling down my arm. So I went shopping for shirts and bras. I really didn't know what size to even try on. I got one size down from what I normally wore, but I think I maybe could have went down two. But I was too scared, doesn't that sound silly. Now my bra size was a real socker. I went from a 50 DD too a.............46 C!
I could not believe it!!!! I knew they were going, but I just thought they were going down to the ground. Also about 2 or 3 weeks ago I went to Wal-mart and started to try on some capri's. Well as I was pulling them on they were tight before I even got them to my waist. So I took them off and didn't try anything else on. I bought 3 pairs of capri's at Wal-mart yesterday without trying them on, because I was too wore out. So today I was trying the clothes on for my husband and the capri's fit and they were a little big in the waist.
Ok next WOW moment. I signed my daughter up for T-ball in March. They had a sign-up sheet where the parents could get shirts to match their kids shirts. Well the largest shirt they had was 2X. I went ahead and ordered it in hopes that by the time the first game came I would be able to fit in it. Well we got our shirts yesterday at practice and I looked at it. And was a little disappointed, because it would proably be a couple of games before I could wear it. I tried it on tonight just to see how long it might be fore I could wear it. Keep in mind that before the surgery I was wearing 4X & 5X. IT FIT!
I still feel like the big person that I am. So when I can get into these smaller clothes it just amazes me. I had to share this with my friends on here. I would enjoy hearing some of your WOW moments too.

Hi Charlotte!
Those are wonderful WOW moments!!! It's all those wow moments that make it all worthwhile.
Hmmm.....some of my wow moments.....there have been quite a few since I had surgery in November, but here are my favorites!
1. The first time I put my hands behind my back and could lace my fingers together.
2. When I had to adjust the rearview mirror in my car because my hind-end was
shrinking and I was sitting lower in the seat.
3. When I had to move my seat forward in the car.
4. When I could keep up with the skinny walkers at work!
5. Getting into a size 26/28 for the first time in many, many years!
6. My favorite pair of summer shoes from last year fall off my feet now.
7. I HAVE COLLAR BONES!!!
8. People's reaction to me when they haven't seen me in a while.
9. Going to a restaurant and sitting in a BOOTH!
10. And my latest WOW moment....hitting my 'halfway to goal' mark over the
weekend!
Keep up the great work Charlotte! And enjoy all the WOW moments!

Isn't it cool? When last summer came I had no clothes at all. Before surgery I was in 4x shirts and 26/28 jeans. Durning my losing phase I just wore my hubbys stuff. He was smaller than me, was! After I got to goal (durning my losing phase I did buy some new clothes, just not alot) when I hit goal I got to be a huge shopper. I couldn't go to Walmart last summer without having to have this cute shirt, those cute shorts, skorts, I love shopping on the little people side of Walmart now. I now wear 4/6 in shirts, blouses, bra went from 44D to a 34B. The girls were 2 of the first things to go. My panty size went from a 14 to a 5. My jeans, pants, capris, skirts, what ever are 10 or if they're low waist a 12 cause I still have a big booty but its a lot better than wearing the sizes I did wear. I just turned 30 and my younger brothers all teased me about getting older and I told them that I feel so much better now at 30 than I did a few years ago. I've been at goal and maintaining for over a year and its just been great. I wish u the best and many, many more WOW moments. Its also cool to run into people u haven't seen in a long time and they have no idea who u r. I love that!
Congrats!
