My dad has cancer. He has has non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in his bones. He has been through all the chemo and there is not a whole lot else they can do. They can not continue the treatments because his white blood cell is down to 1.7 his hemoglobin was down to 8.0. His red blood cells are low as well. My question is, How long can he continue with his white blood cells being so low????? Anybody have any ideal just let me know. Thanks Cindy

Hey Cynthia....so sorry to hear about your dad. I deal with cancer patients everyday doing Pet/CT fusion for a mobile company. Our scans mainly track the progression of the disease so they can tell if treatment is working, where exactly to treat, or about how long they have based on the progression. I know that probably doesnt help much but feel free to ask me any questions if you like. I hope your dad hangs in the fight and that he may be as comfortable as possible. HUGS!!
