I sprung a leak...back to the hospital..

Friday morning when I woke I sat here at the computer sipping my warm tea and taking my meds when my drain incision leaked lots (like 2-3 cups) of clear sticky fluid. I called the WLS and they had me go to the ER and get some test, blood and CT Abdomen Pelvis with contrast (gross).It was horrible, they stuck me 7 times and really had no answers for me. They think that my body had held a pocket of fluid from the sugery and it finally released, but kept me overnight and fed me lots of blue and purple popcicles to make sure there really wasnt a leak and gave me some antibiotics cause I had a small temp. I got to come home late Saturday. I had lots of severe nausea Fri and Sat but have felt pretty good yesterday and today. I must say Dr. Steiner is great! If he doesnt know he will tell ya he doesnt know...I love honesty, but he also will stand by you till you are better. I told him he jinksed me cause he said I was an all star patient and bragged lots on me when I first came home Wendsday..lol. Leave it to me to have weird, unseen problems...or is it just me....anyone else have this?

Jen Sounds like you will be a true trooper. Dr Steiner is great. He did my surgery also. I hope you are feeling better. And good luck with your journey. Donna
