Anyone Banded by Sonnanstine???

Lynette...there is no class on May 28th...it's memorial day. you may want to call the office and ask about that. fills are included for the first year,.. other than that I don't know a thing about office procedures. take care Brenda

Thanks Brenda, I called and had my classes rescheduled. Looks like I'm doing class 3 next Monday evening, then 1,2, and 4. I have another question. What does he use to control pain after the surgery, and did anyone out there worry about the anesthetic, because it never seems to fail, I get sick after waking up. Thanks for all the information. Dr. Sonnanstine holds one of the classes, during that time not only talks about pain control and the surgery itself but he conducts this class in a very laid back manner..he wants everyone to feel free to ask questions and talk openly about their worries and fears. You will watch a film of the surgery that he performed.. I am not sure what he would want me to explain about pain control since I am not sure waht type of meds he will give you...but I do know he uses the ON Q Pain pump which he will also explain in class. You will learn so much and be extremely prepared by the time you go through the classes...will you have someone there attending with you? your support person is welcome to attend as well. I will probably see you in one of the classes..do you know which date is the one with Dr. Sonnanstine?

Brenda, Thanks for the information. I have read about the pain pump and it does sound better than vicodin, darvecet, or other pain pills they give you. Mimi told me we'll get to watch an actually surgery. I have seen one already, and it was very interesting, and answered a lot for me. I've asked my husband to attend at least 1 of the classes. My mother in law watches my 3 year old M-F while we work, and I hope she'll be able to stay one night and we will both get to go to a class. I'm not sure what class is what except for class 4 i(it's the taste testing the powder) The others I wasn't told what they were. Hope to see you there sometime. Lynette

This coming Monday is video night with Dr. Sonnanstine, great class for your hubby to attend as he will have the opportunity to learn about the surgery as well as ask questions.. I should be there if I am not already scheduled to work. Brenda
