How wonderful that you can do all these things!! And I'm sure your daughter is so happy to have her mom playing with her more. I know my nieces and nephews like that I can play with them more instead of jus****ching them. And I'm enjoying it too! Oh...and congrats on the enjoyable sex. You know, if they'd list that as one of the benefits of having this surgery....I bet a lot more people would have the surgery!

Well I went and bought some new tshirts yesterday. If i wanted to wear a formfitting than i would go with a xlt but chose to go 2xlt because i do like my shirts to have some give. by all means the xlt went on without a fight ... just a little too snug for me. thats down from 4xlt and 5xlt. My jeans are now 44 thank you. down from 50 and 52. Walked my dog yesterday on my measured mile course, practically dragged him through it. by the time we were done he was ready to quit and i wasn't. we also cut five minutes off of our time since i took him the last time before the stricture and funky weather we had in the area. Speaking of that i better get dressed and drag him around the neighborhood again.

nope I got the vets permission he said the dog had to lose weight.

I want to dance again without getting out of btrath or sore! I want to fit in a seat at a movie theater, airplane, amusement park ride, or an auditorium seat! I want to buy clothes off the rack or at walmart-not special order! I want to feel good about me

Hi Lee! I understand completely. I wanted to do things that 'normal' size people take for granted. I haven't been to the movies yet since surgery.....but I can fit into a booth at a restaurant now! That was a BIG wow moment for me! Now I INSIST on sitting in booths just because I can! Shopping for clothes is starting to be fun again. I used to dread it because I had trouble finding anything big enough to fit. It's such a great feeling to finally be able to walk into a store, even though it's still a plus-sized store, and know that I can find something to fit. And the most amazing discovery I made after I had surgery and started losing weight is that I DO feel good about myself now. I wish you all the best on your journey. Before you know it, you'll be in the same place I'm in and will look back and see how far you've come. Take care, Chris

Great question =) Well I'm only 2 months out so I still have a way to go but..., I love being able to walk or stand for awhile without my back hurting so bad that I have to sit down. Like that I can get in the drivers seat and my stomach not touch the steering wheel now! LOL I like that I am starting to feel a little more confident. Like I said, I still have a long way to go but I don't feel quite as self concious as I use to, it's getting better =) Now for things I am looking forward to..., Running! I can't wait till I can jog or run again. Sometimes when I'm walking I just wish I could just take off in a run LOL, I'll get there =) Looking forward to buying clothes in a smaller size AND have them look pretty, not just something that I settle for. Of course, ride any ride I want to ride at Disney without worrying if I'll fit and also fit through all those darn turnstiles. I hate those things! LOL Not be afraid to book a flight on a plane because I'm afraid I won't fit. I could go on and on LOL Tammy
