OT:Happy Mothers Day(and I've ticked off Adam again)
Happy Mothers Day everyone. I would have sent this earlier but I've been sick
today. I went to bed at 11pm last night and didn't actually go to sleep till
about 9am this morning. I think I ate something yesterday that didn't agree
with me and it disagreed with me all night long. Adam came home at 7:30am and
went back to Walgreens to get me some pepto bismol and immodium ad. I did sleep
for about a hour this morning. I'm worn out. I also managed to make Adam madder
than a hornet. He got up about 3pm and we were sitting outside with pop and
Allison. I was teasing him and said something about it would have been nice to
get a flower or a card this morning. Adam never thinks of that stuff. He'll
take me to town tomorrow and let me pick out something but every now and then
it would be nice if I didn't have to remind him that I'd like to be surprised
with a card or some flowers. I guess I shouldn't have mentioned it cause all I
heard for the rest of the afternoon were not very nice words. Its not worth the
fussing. Some men buy flowers and cards and some like Adam just don't care.
Happy Mothers Day. Sorry I'm so down. No sleep gets to me. I get cranky too I
guess like a baby.
Maybe it's just a man thing. I was having a good day till my husband decided to become a horses butt. After that it kinda spoiled my whole day. I don't know what his problem is. He's been getting this way every weekend. He wants to go do something, but won't leave the house to do it. Then he makes mine and the kids day miserable. So he really got mad when me and the kids said we weren't going to his mom's with him. We didn't want to be around him. Anyway sorry you had a bad mother's day, but you weren't alone.

Sorry u had a rough one too. Todays been better, he's still pouting some cause I told him he should have remembered to bring me a card yesterday but he'll get over it. My mother in law lives in Missouri lol. We don't have to deal with going over there on Holidays. I do enjoy going up to visit. She lives on the Lake of the Ozarks. Its gorgeous up there.
hey srry for the bad day ,my man is the same way he said I dnt know what to get you your clothes change all the time & you can not have choc ,oh well I thought I could use flowers or a card lol so he took me out to eat at the Crab shack here so he tried to redeam himself good try but that is ok had a good time with my son sometimes men just need a good shaking up lol

Sorry u had a bad Mother's Day. Some men are just plain inconsiderate. But again other have different views. My husband (of 28 yrs) never buys me anything for Mother's day. He says that's for our kids and grandkids to do. He says he doesn't need a "marked Holiday" to give his wife something or tell me he loves me so....out of the blue I get flowers, or a meal fixed, or going shopping he sees something I would like and buys it for me all year long. Always a surprise and I loves those "surpises". I never get valentines either. But I don't mind that either. I actually like it better this way as I get gifts 8, 10 times a year and not just 2 times a year. Wouldn't change him for the world. I accept him as he is. And I know he is thinking of me all year round (lol).
This is my first post. I like to read what people write and am trying to get insurance to get surgery done. Hubby's insurance kicks in July 1st I think. I got turned down by my ins.
