what do i need for my stay at the hospitle
Hey Mel who told you about the hiccups and sponge bath. as I do remember those. I had hiccups really bad the first two days after surgery. That was part of the complications I had after surgery. From what I hear not everyone has the hiccups like I had.
The sponge bath I remember also and I know the name of the nurse who gave it to me also......
Now as to the pain meds I believe they were giving me dilauid. NOt 100% sure. It could also depend on your doctor too. Ask others about pain after surgery. As I had complications that they kept me somewhat knocked out of this world to better control them and get me better faster. I would fall asleep easily and was woken up every hour on the hour for the first three days. for vitals.
Don't worry about the pain as they will help you keep it under control.
