NEWBIE

Hi there Kentuckians.  I live in Louisville, Ky.  Have lived here all my life.  I will be 28 tomorrow.  I have two wonderful daughters.(10 & 5)  I am getting married 08-08-08.  I do not want to look and feel the way I do now on my wedding day.  That is a day to feel like a princess.  I am at my highest weight of 317.  This was on May 16.  I attended a seminar for the Lap band on April 27,2007.  I have turned in all the paper work.  I have appointment with the surgeon on May 31, 2007.  My insurance requires for me to be seen by a nutricianist and have a psych acessment.  When I see the surgeon they will schedule these things for me.  I hope it is soon. Thanks for hearing my story.

Hello I had to do a six months diet with my pcp . I send all my paper work in in Jan. Will sumit to Humana  next month . Your should go faster if you don't have to have the 6 months diet. Keep me posted .

Hi and welcome. Congrats on your marriage next year. I went to my cousins wedding yesterday, it was beautiful. I'm sure u will look like a princess. My highest weight was 324 and the morning of surgery it was 313. I had rny on March 24 05 and have lost over 170 pounds. I lost it in a year and have been maintaining for a year. My surgeon is Mark Shina. I wish u the best and if u ever need to chit chat about surgery or whatever feel free to give me a holler anytime! I tried smoking for about a month but never really got into it.
