I got a TATOO

Ok   I did it!!!!!! Can't believe it.  Sarah's wonderful new man who happens to be so talented did a side view of a butterfly on my big toe that is pink and blue with a lime green vine.  It has 311 in the vine which was my starting weight.  Today I was at 151 again. So it is still 160 lb loss.  It is so cool.  I really wanted to do this and yes the toe hurts.  Hopefully Sarah will post a picture.  The funny thing is about 3 years ago I made fun of Sarah's tatoo and I should never have done so.  Her tatoos tell a story and they all have meanings.  I can honestly understand now.  I am so excited.  I had to eat a whole bowl of crow while I got my tatoo but it was so worth it.  Thanks Sarah!!!!! He is wonderful and you all are so darn cute. Love ya

TY I am glad you are happy with it... Its gorgeous eventhough I should have been first to get one! He is wonderful... imma keep his sexy ass in my pocket and never give him up... he said to let him know when you are ready for #2 Also, I didnt post the pic because its kinda hard to see... so if mimi can take a better one that would be fantastic!

Jane, that's so great!!    You gotta show us at the next support group meeting! I've thought about getting one once I'm done losing all the weight that has my starting weight on it and how much I've lost.  Or maybe the date of my surgery. 

And Sarah....I'm going to keep your man in mind for when I'm ready to get one! 

Definately keep him in mind! He does great work! I cant wait till he starts the "fairly large" one on my back lol he seems to think its Huge and not just "fairly large" lol  I should be at the next post op meeting if you wanna talk about it then.  Sarah

Hi Jane........congrats on the new tattoo................I love it. And what a wonderful idea. I went and had my hubbies name put on my back last year because no matter what he has always got my back. I also have one on my ankle and yes it did hurt................But now this has a great meaning to you and you no it was all worth it!!!!!                       Take care......................vickie

hey Jane just now realized you posted a pic of the tattoo. Wow that looks good, I like the idea of putting the start weight in the design. Well now I am going to start thinking of the design for my second tat. I guess that means I need to get my first one though....

I had to wait until I had a weekend off from camping so it could heal.  I have known all along what I wanted and I almost changed my mind.  I was so scared it would hurt so bad on my toe, but he went fast and Mimi and Sarah kept me in stitches.  I had to show em I was tuff.  Today its sore. I love it Jane! Made me wish I was getting mine sooner! I wish u guys were closer I'd go to Sarahs feller too. Mine is going to be a huge phoenix on my back, left shoulder with some of one of the wings coming over on to my chest. I can't wait. He says it'll take 3-4 sittings to draw and color and its pricey. Adam about freaked but this is what I feel tells my story and its important to me so Adam said yes.  I can't wait. I'm so excited. I wish all u guys were closer we're having a pool party this Sat.
