Hello! (a small update on Dee)
Hey everyone! Greetings and salutations!
I just wanted to say hello to everyone and give a teeny, tiny update on how I've been doing. Mike and I went on vacation last week and we had such a good time. Not being able to afford much, we went to the Daniel Boone forest for a few nights of camping and hiking.
Yes you read right, hiking. We hiked (the small trails) for 2 days and I'm feeling it! I'm shocked at some of the trails we did make, such as Tater Knob Overlook. (I actually made it to the top)
There was swimming on a couple of those days and of course, fishing. We both had such a good time and really enjoyed the break!
I finally made it below 300lbs.! WoooHooo! The only thing is, it was only a pound below 300, so I do have 2lbs of water retention, thus putting me back above 300lbs. I got a little depressed about that, but realize with the heat, it's gonna happen.
Mike and I are still working out and are doing well. I just wanted to also let you guys know that we took some pictures of the trip and I've downloaded some in my profile.
I'll also be adding some of Michael's pics in his profile later today.
I hope that everyone is doing fine. I think about y'all everyday!
Dee

Hey Dee Love the pictures. We use to camp at Twin Knobs in Morehead, which is in the Daniel Boone National Forest. There was hike to a peak. I only did it once and I could hardly make it. I would love to do it now. Shoot that was 15 years ago. It feels great doing stuff you haven't been able to do. Your weight loss is wonderful. Keep up the good work.
Jane
ON 10/17/05 I LANDED ON OZ NEVER GOING BACK UP IN THE DAMN
TORNADO AGAIN. BEWARE OF THE WITCHES!
TORNADO AGAIN. BEWARE OF THE WITCHES!
Thanks Jane! Mike and I wanted to camp at Twin Knobs first, but they were booked up. We really enjoyed our stay at Zilpo. We actually had a night where we were the only ones in the park. It was so peaceful and nice.
We sat up by our fire and when it would die down, we'd stare up at the stars and ponder the universe. We got to see the space shuttle Atlantis several times each night. We made it our goal to find it.
The stars were amazing!
I'm in another stall and it's depressing me some. It seems I can't get back below 300lbs. I did before the trip, and thought that by the end of the trip, I'd be way below 300lbs., but no go. I'm now hovering between 303 and 302. What's up with that?
Have a good Fathers day!
Dee
