now it's my anniversary!

4 years ago June 18th...I can't believe it's been that long but then again, it's hard to remember the life I left behind.. For those of you now searching and wondering..this is an awesome ride..I have so much to be thankfull for...I would do this again tomorrow!!! The things I am thankful for are new friends in the bariatric community and finding a surgeon who became a great friend and a wonderful support system..Dr. Sonnanstine (Dr. Tom) has opened so many doors for me....to his patients who come here on the board..who have allowed me to be part of their journey...Thank you!!!  You have all been my incredible source of support...and my inspriration..without you all, I could have never made it! It's been a great experience being with your family.   I got away from the advocate work at St. Luke until your surgery day..so it was a blessing for us both! Brenda

My pleasure Jane, as I said to Amy..your family was great ..each time brought a new experience..AS a matter of fact you are the only member of the fam that I went into surgery with..I held your hand until you went to sleep..I was so glad to be there for that day! Brenda
