Somerset Ky from Elizabethtown Ky?

I've been thru Somerset several times. Its just been awhile. We're going down there Thurs or Friday this week to purchase a Kia Sedona van. I was going to get a Dodge Intrepid but I've heard alot of bad things about those. Adam found this Sedona a month or so ago, its just about $1500 more than I wanted to spend but Adam's kicking in the extra on it, isn't he a good hubby? Well, sometimes. Ok, I'm wondering since we live close to I 65 if we should take 65 south to the Cumberland Parkway and then over to Somerset? When I used to go thru Somerset on  my way to the Smokey's we'd go thru Campbellsville, Columbia and on down. What do u all think? Which would be the quickest or the best way? I'm about 7 miles from I 65 (exit 94) so I just thought we could hop on there and go down to the Cumberland Parkway exit. What do ya'll think?

Hello there.. my boyfriends family lives in Jamestown which is right down the road from Somerset,  we live in Radcliff and frequent both places more than 3 or 4 times a month. When we go we take the Hodgenville bypass all the down and turn onto 210 and go thru Campbellsville~Columbia and then we get in the Cumberland Parkway. Its much faster to us. I could drive down there and back blindfolded we go down there so much lol. Also good choice on the Sedona, we had an 04 for almost 2 years "he traded it in for something smaller", it rode quite well and we would buy another if we decide to get another minivan oneday...Well have a safe and happy trip..Hope this helps... Thanks. I did a mapquest too and it takes u thru the Hodgenville way. I just didn't know if hitting 65 would be closer. Guess not lol. I thought about putting some $ down on a new Sedona but I just don't want a payment right now. This one is in good shape, runs good, and looks good. I got a great deal on it. Maybe in a year or so I'll go finance one but right now I just want to replace my neon we totalled last fall. This makes me happy lol.

Your welcome! It is about 90 miles or so when you take the Hodgenville way. I think 65 is way more! I dont blame you a payment isnt nice to have lol. Id rather have one that is paid off! Sorry to hear about your neon, I use to love Dodge vehicles but all the ones I have had have blown something lol. My sister has a 99 neon even though it was a gas saver the transmission kept going out and the head gasket blew 3 times and the air compressure had to be fixed a few times, its been sitting in her driveway for over a year and a half! Id go with the Sedona I thought it was an awesome minivan. Yes I picked Dr. Shina because I heard he was the best, I am waiting on the nurse or who ever it is too call me back this week, she called me friday to ask what dates are not best for me when it comes to setting up my Heart and Lung appts, I have my Nut and Dietician appt on the 11th. I am wondering how long after the appts does it usually take for your surgery date if ya can guesstamate that would be nice to hear lol. I have a medical card so who knows with them! Hey Toni, my health insurance kept screwing around of course, they denied me, then approved me. Once I got approved my surgery was 75 days after that and all my appts were scheduled the month before my surgery. I got my vena cava filter a week before. I had my nut, the day of my consult and seminar, and the pych eval the day after. I'm not sure with the medical card. My bnl had Dr Geller and a medical card and was approved pretty quickly.
