Dr. Sonnanstine??

There is not really much else to say that other's haven't already said, but I just wanted to add that I LOVE Dr S. He's amazing, and his staff is WONDERFUL!

Dr. Tom performed my bypass on December 13, 2006.  The nurses kept trying to give me pain medication, but I felt fine.  I couldn't believe how great I felt after the surgery.  Dr. Tom is really great at personally taking time to meet with you and discuss any and all concerns you have about the procedures.  My husband was really upset, at first, that I was having the surgery done.  Then, at the informational meeting where Dr. Tom actually explained the procedures with a movie and passed around the instruments, he felt much more confident and relaxed in my decision.   Dr. Tom is always there to answer your questions and he treats you like family.  I have read some posts on here, that the patients haven't even met their surgeon until the week of the surgery.  No way, that would make me nuts.  I think that it is great to be able to build a relationship with a doctor and his staff so that you can trust each other.   I know that he and his staff have probably gotten tired of me saying that the weight is not coming off fast enough.  I think now, it is coming off as it is intended to.  I have the large bat wings to take flight at a moments notice.  I have the butt that goes one way when I want it to go another.  The best part about this, in jazzercise class, it doesn't take a lot of effort to shake the butt and hips (there is a lot there).   I wish that I could get to the group support meetings but work and time do not permit it.  I will shortly.  If you have any concerns at all about Dr. Tom, attend one of his group meetings the fourth Tuesday of the month at 5;30 p.m.  I know that you will not be disappointed. Hello, I haven't been on the site for a few days.  I spotted your question concerning Dr. Sonnanstine and  I can't say anything more to you than what the others have said about him, he is just the best doctor that you could ever ask for.  He did my Lap-Band on May 16, 2007, I am 2 months post-op and I have never regretted one day of having the surgery.  You will be happy if you chose to go with him.  Also........I am your next door neighbor (well almost) I live in Southgate, KY.  If you would like to talk just email me at, [email protected]  Good luck in what ever you chose. Ok...lets face it....Dr. Sonnanstine is the BEST!  I can't add a thing to what everyone else has already said.  Not only is he the best but so is his staff.  Taryn, Beth, Christine, Dr. Little and everyone else is awesome!!  I sometimes wonder if I will ever feel the same about another doctor.  I recently had a cold and seriously wanted to call him instead of my family doctor.  I know, it is crazy There are other doctors in this area...I promise you, you won't find a better one!! He did my lap band on 11/20/06.  I am Amy and Jane's sister.  If you have any questions, please feel free to send me a message.  I am happy to help.  As far as financing options, I know that they do have them.  I just don't know the specifics.  If you call or email the office, they will certainly give you the info.  Try your insurance first and see what happens.  Christine seems to be able to work miracles with insurance.  They did it for me.    I was denied at first and won on appeal.  So, you never know!!
