Hello to all, Newbie here! Update

Well I am making some progress.  Today I had my Psychological evaluation and that went great.  I have two appointments for August 1st and 2nd to meet with the dietitian and to have my dietary evaluation.  I have also have 4 group meetings which are on 7/30, 8/6, 8/13 and 8/20.  I am so excited I cant hardly stand it!

Hey Nicole, that's awesome...I wish I had known your time frame today..I spent the entire day at the hospital..I would have come to meet up with you..

Well that would have been great but at least we will get to meet up at the class.  I have that class on 8/20 from 5-6:30 so I will see you there!

I have Anthem BCBS.  They gave me a hard time initially stating that Tri-State Surgical Center hadn't sent in their paperwork to be approved as a participating doctor/facility.  However, after my surgery, all I had to pay was $100/day co-pay for the hospital and then my co-pays for the dr. visits.   You have made a great choice in Dr. Tom.  Good luck. I did cal the insurance company and they said Dr. Tom is listed as a participating provider so hopefully I will not have any problems.  I was really excited on the insurance company's site that they acutally have a form you can print out and give to the doctor to have them fill out and send in the get approval for the surgery.  I hope my co pay is the same because that is not bad at all!
