What would you do different
There was a post on one of the other boards that got me thinking....If you had the chance to go back to right before your surgery would you do anything different..or is there something that you wish you would have done before surgery. One mentioned measureing their belly which makes sense I plan to take all my measurements. Another one said they wished they had gotten RX's beforehand so they didnt have to worry about that going home. Anything else you OLD TIMERS would recomend doing or wish you would have done!
Also what is it for on the profile where it says surgery page and not having an angel ? Do I need 1?
Hi Pam, The only thing I wish I could go back and do is get a picture of myself in the hospital. I'm an avid scrapbooker and that would have been perfect for my album on my weight loss. I have someone take my picture every month (front view and side view) so I can not only put it in my scrapbook, but also just to be able to watch myself changing over time. From month to month, I don't see that much difference, but from the beginning to now....WOW! I also take my measurements so that when I'm not losing on the scale for a few weeks, I can check my measurements and still have some tangible proof that I'm losing. Also, keep one outfit that you wear a lot now. I chose to keep the outfit I wore for my consultation with Dr. Sonnanstine. Every once in a while I try it on to see how big and baggy it is on me.
