upcoming first fill

i will be having my first fill on this thursday , i am excited and a little nervous. my girlfriend had her fill today . she did well. it seem like all this time waiting for a feel , has just went by. i can tell i have the band . but i can still eat a little more sometime. i sure the first fill will really put me into a reality check.

Kimberly, Most people can't tell any difference with their first fill, but you might be one of the lucky ones!   It took 8 fills before I finally had good restriction. I've found my fills to be pleasant experiences.  I had my 9th fill yesterday, and that was the first time they had to work to access the port.  Apparently, scar tissue can build up after a number of fills, and that was the reason the PA couldn't find the port diaphragm immediately.  Even then it wasn't bad. I hope your expereince is good and your fill makes a difference for you! Kathy
