When will I feel normal again?

Oh no Missy.  You are over doing it then.  Thinkin maybe u went back too soon.  Put a call in to Dr Shina and what u can do.  It may be somethin simple but the fact of recent major surgery I wouldnt mess with. Any bleeding or fuild comin from it?

Just a lil note to warn all pre and post ops. GET YOUR PROTEIN IN EVERYDAY!!!  I have done rather crappy with mine since day 1 and I am paying dearly with VERY slow weight loss, major hair loss, and all out feelin like shit!  PLEASE!!!!  Follow your program's rules!!

I know I am overdoing it, but I am not getting paid for my time off, but money is not everything. I talked to Holly today when it happened and she said ...what the heck are you doing  at work already..... I said your husband said I could come back...she said this is common whith obese people , so I came home and rested and rested and more rest....boredom is killing me. Thanks for thinking of me. Hope all is well. Hugs to you

Missy, What kind of work do you do? I don't know when you will feel normal as I have not started the journey yet. Mine will be on Monday. I would imagine that most people feel the way you do.  I have school two weeks after my surgery so I am hoping that I can sit in a classroom all weekend, if not I am out of my program. I also work full time but I have up to 13 weeks that I can take off of that but I am hoping to be off only 2-3 weeks because even though I have time I would be losing money. I guess my best advice is to just get lots of rest and try not to overdo it. Good Luck!!!

Hi Missy, It's definitely hard going back to work, especially so soon.   I took 6 weeks off of work and still was tired and soooo worn out by the end of the day.  I think our bodies have gone through so much with this surgery that it just takes time to get back up to speed.   But trust me, you'll be feeling better soon and as you lose more and more weight....you'll feel better and better!   Be sure to get lots of sleep, keep drinking tha****er, get in the protein......and take care of yourself!   As for that incision.....call your surgeon.  That's not something to mess with.
