Protein question & I've lost 7 lbs

I'm a little over 2 and half years post op. I lost down from 324 to 161. Thats where my surgeon wanted me. I maintained that for a year. Then I noticed that I went back to bad habits. Inside of eating meals I was snacking/grazing on junk food all the time. I gained 30 pounds. This past Tues when I went to my family doc I weighed in at 190. That scared me. That opened my eyes. Since Tues I've cut out all snacks and sweets. 3 small meals a day. Chicken, Turkey, Fish. I was wanting to start my protein shakes again but I'm worried that it might have caffiene in it. I have always used Body Fortress Chocolate Whey Protein. Its got 23g per serving of protein, 110 cals, 2 carbs, 1g sugar. I don't see caffiene anywhere in the incredients or on the jug at all. If it doesn't say caffiene does that mean it doesn't have any? Thanks Angela By the way I've lost 7 pounds since Tues and I am determined to get back to where I was. I see my gastric bypass surgeon Sept 5, he wants to do a scope and a upper GI. I've been told recently that I have acid reflux so I think he wants to check that out

Thanks...I'm excited about it. I'm excited to be back on track. The urge to snack does get me but I found out that there is NO caffiene in my protein powder so I can have that and I'll make it. I see u r from Leitchfield. Have loads of family and friends down there.  Know any Royaltys? Nottinghams? Manion? Theres a used car lot right off 62 when u go into Clarkson, they have a greenhouse too. Thats my cousin Anna Francis and her husband, Joe. I think they're last name is Cain. I haven't been to my family reunion in over 9 yrs. Its always down right before u get to Clarkson. I believe I'll go this year.

SO HAPPY FOR YOU 7 LBS THAT IS GREAT I know I snack also got to stop in front of the tv is easy to do ,I still drink a shake every am ,keep it up it will come back off ,I had a good time at the family reunion no one hardly knew me made me feel real good ,yea for us all getting our life back yeaaaaaaaaaa good luck at your reunion

Glad u had a great time! I'm looking forward to mine. Hopefully I'll lose a few more pounds and be back in those size 12's instead of the 14's I had to go up too.
