Going to a Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist tomorrow.

I've taken 2 rounds of Augmentin 875mg 2 times a day in the past 2 months and nothing! My inner ears are inflammed and have me all screwed up. I'm on meclizine for that. I still feel so much sinus pressure in my checks, behind my eyes, in my head. My ears hurt some too. My left ear is kind of a dull ache that runs along my jaw line, up under my eye and down my neck. I hope instead of just going and talking to these ppl tomorrow they'll do something for me. I'm on ativan for panic attacks. I've never in my life had panic attacks. Its strange that they start while I'm having inner ear issues. The ativan is doing ok, doesn't make me real sleepy but keeps me calm. Anyone know what the first visit to the ENT will be like? I know I want cat scans done of my sinuses and test on my ears. Do I have to ask for this stuff or should they know?

I'm not exactly familiar with the condition, but I would definitely ask. If there's anything I've learned, it's that you cant take for granted that a medical professional will have all the bases covered. Hope you feel better soon. :(

Angela,   It depends upon the ENT as to what all they will do and order the frst time. I would simply state to them that you would like a cat scan of the sinuses and your ears tested. Also be sure to list everything that has been happening with you. I wish you well and hope that this will help get you straighted out. Will say a prayer for ya as well. God Bless You Michael
