Needing Help....

I am beginning the journey of WLS. I have been getting myself ready for this a long time now. I have diabetes, high blood pressure, high trigyl, high cholesterol, fibromyaogia among other things. I am now at the highest weight I have ever been and I am miserable. I have 7 children I would love to see live a happy life.  I have medicare. I need to know where I can go in Kentucky within reason for this surgery. I have been told Dr. Shina is not taking medicare anymore and that is where I went for my seminar. 

I live in Cave City which is about an hour and half drive to Louisville and the same to Nashville.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

How far are you from paducah ky b/c at lourdes hospitial they have a dr their he used to take it b/c I had it then and used it for my WLS  best of luck to you  hugggsss Beth

A wonderful friend of mine, Joy just had her surgery Tuesday, she too started with Dr Shina and found out about the medicaid ordeal, she went to Dr Jeffrey Allen and had her surgery at Nortons downtown. If you want anymore info feel free to ask. Missy
