Sad news from main board

I was just on the main board, and was deeply saddened by someones Dad passing yesterday after his surgery, her is his page if you want to check is out and send your prayers. His daughter had the surgery a year ago.  gbenz671  Thanks, Missy

Oh gosh Missy that is so sad! Will the family be checking his surgery page? What happened? I hate to admit it but my blood pressure probably raised several degrees after reading this knowing I am having surgery next week. I will go and leave a message on his surgery page. that poor girl, what she must be going through and I apologize I didn't mean to sound vain and insensitive though it has occurred to me that I might have. Oh and you didn't upset me, anytime anyone dies it is upsetting even if you don't know them because we've all had someone die and it is painful especially around Christmas. My Mom died 10 yrs. ago December 5th and the day passed and I didn't even think about it...I was doing all my preops for surgery. Then today I realized that yesterday was the 5th, life truly does go on I guess.  How are you doing? How are you doing on your weight loss? Are you ready for Christmas? Well I am off to bed now. Oh I didnt think you sounded insensitive at all, Its just so sad.  I am doing ok, I have been off all week with Strep Throat, she was going to admit me Monday to the hospital it was so bad, but I begged her not to . I said I have had enough hosptial over the past 4 mnths...LOL. Today I had to go back and see her again, and had to get yet another steroid shot because after 5 days later, my tonsils are still touching...so hopefully its better soon. Thanks for asking, let me know if you need anything before/after surgery ok. On the bright side... I am 6 lbs from 100 lbs lost in 4 mnths...I still cannot believe it... Take care
