Hi everyone!!!!Been MIA

Hi everyone, I have been checking the board out but not talking much.  Had a hysterectomy and it has me just sitting and taking it easy which is driving me crazy.  Only 2 more weeks and then I can resume normal activities.  Its really scary how old habits just creep back.  My portions are small but I am able to eat and I mean anything.  So sitting, not moving and just being down in the dumps I saw a number on the scale that scared the crap out of me.  I was 169.  OMG what am I doing??? So I got back on track.  I saw 165 today and I hope to be under 160 by Christmas.  I went today and got a job, yea!!! I quit working 5 years ago to stay at home with my girls and I need to get out and do something for me.  So I am going to be a substitue teachers aide in our school system.  I will love just being on call.  So hopefully they will call alot. Anyway just wanted to say HI and wish everyone a Merry Christmas. Vicki R you look wonderful.

I'm glad to hear you're doing well after your surgery....even though you've got major cabin fever!   That's so great about the new job!   A friend of mine does a lot of volunteer work at her daughter's school and absolutely loves it.  She was like you....going crazy sitting at home and had to find something to do that coincided with her kids school hours.  Working within the school system was a perfect fit.   Hope your holidays are wonderful and Santa is good to you! HELLO THERE SO GLAD YOU ARE DOING BETTER ,glad to see you on the boards again ,subbing is so fun I just quit my new job it was stressing me out I have one more week there I put in my 2 week notice & yes I am going to be a sub teacher aid also lol so I will be on call also I will be working in the elem schools in my area I did it before & it is so rewarding ,so have fun with your new job & I start to sub at the new year after Christmas break ,MERRY CHRISTMAS

That is really weird you are doing the same thing.  I can't wait.  Just need a little extra money but I need to do something.  It would be diffrent is I was a clean freak but I'm not.   You have a Happy Holiday also Jane
