Hello All!
It has been quit sometime since i have been on here. I tried to get weightloss surgery like 2 years ago but insurance would not cover, i hired that WLS lawyer, Gary, blah..blah...blahh...to make a long story short, i never did get the surgery and now my husband works at Caesars Indiana Casino and the insurance does cover it after you have been on the insurance plan for 12 months. Which for me would be October 28th, 2008. I was just wondering if anyone else has this insurance or is employed at Caesars that has either had this surgery or knows someone that has. The benefits are wonderful and i am really excited about them covering the surgery. Maybe this time next year i will be a Loser...hehe! Any help or comments would be appreciated!

I don't know anything about your insurance..or anything like that but I would like to wish you luck on your surgery...and don't get discouraged... November 2006 I went to my weight loss seminar..got my appointment...saw the dietician and started my 6 months of medical weight loss that my insurance requires that I do...well I got to my 5th month..and missed my appointment with my dietician do to my work scheduel..and they made me start all over bc i neglected to hear that it was 6 consecutive months..I was devistated...then I had some family problems and couldnt complete my process..Now I have everything in order and I'm on my journey again....I know october 2008 seems like a life time but it will fly by..in my opinion i would contact your surgical weight loss office and see what the requirements are from your insurance..that way if you have to do supervised weight loss with your pcp..you can go ahead and do it =D..I hope this helps and if you have any other questons just ask us..
