After 5 years off to work!!!!

Today is my 2nd day at work.  I am a substitute teachers aid.  It's not as much fun as Mimi's kids but it is something diffrent and it has me going out into the public.  Today I am working with the special needs children.  Yesterday I was in pre school.  Dancing, cleaning up under tables,  These are all things I could never have done 2 years ago.   Just wanted to say what a great day and if anyone is reading about WLS it really does change your whole life. Jane, it sounds like you are having a blast! I do volunteer work at my daughters school, and they both are glad when I am there.  I have even been asked by their teachers when I was going to become a full time aide!  I have got my paperwork filled out to go back to school to become an elementary school teacher, and now that my wls is done, I feel more confident in having the opportunity to go ahead and going back to school! Hope you have a wonderful day with all the children! They are definatly a blessing!

Thanks Ryan, that is very sweet.  Well I had 4 special children today, all day and it was wonderful. 3 of them don't speak but I never shut up.  I wore my Wizard of Oz watch and the kids loved it ,almost caused too much attention.  Speaking of the Wizzard.........Mimi turns 40!!!!!!!!! on 1/24.  We are double dating.  Rick is not a theater person but the 4 of us are going to see Wicked.  I can't wait.  I showed him what we could sell the tickets for on e bay and he is ready to sell.  NO WAY. No work tonight for me... Today is my birthday. Yes I turned 35 so Trina and I are headed out. I am thinking of hitting the boats for a little spending of the OT money. Tell me how "Wicked" turns out, We have talked about going.
