Congrats! Ohhh good question. Well I am sure he knows. lol It make be close to the same for all lapband folks. im not for sure. Try posting on the lapband board asking them where their port is. Some people can feel theirs when they rub around the area of the lower waist line, sides of the belly button etc. Let me know what u find out.

ill find out firday...i go there for my 2 wk visit.... i hope he dont get mad...his nurse told me i could go to soft foods..and i did...but it was only a week out..i was sooo shakey

I see him on Thursday. I am 2 months out today. If his nurse told u it was ok then Im sure he wont be mad. Luckily it was lapband and u wernt in danger of popping a pouch etc. Make sure u chew really well though.

Just a lil note to warn all pre and post ops. GET YOUR PROTEIN IN EVERYDAY!!! I have done rather crappy with mine since day 1 and I am paying dearly with VERY slow weight loss, major hair loss, and all out feelin like shit! PLEASE!!!! Follow your program's rules!!

Doctor Allen is great. He is very kind and caring. Even with as busy as he gets, if u have a question he will stop and answer. He has certain tests he wants done for himself but also for insurance but its not that bad and tends to go by fast.

Some of the staff may get on ur nerves but thats anywhere so dont let them put u off. Best of luck and let me know if I can help any!

My port is up and to the right of my belly button. The incision where it was inserted is the largest one I had. Hope this helps!
