my grandson!

Well, today is my grandsons birthday..he was born at 3:23 today weighing in at 7lb 8.0ozs and 20 inches long..he looks much bigger,..he is such a chubbo..what a cutie pie.  He and my daughter are doing wonderful..I just called to check on them both..she said her husband hasn't put him down since he was born...he is such a quiet guy and you just can't predict..but he did so well during labor though the doc got worried and had a nurse run get him on OJ and crackers..but he didnt pass out..lol his name is Ian Michael.  Michael is my sons name as well as my husband (grandpa) and Rob's dad (other grandpa.. just wanted to share my exciting news..  I am exhausted, after a long 2 days I feel as though I am coming down with something..yuck. Congratulations Grandmaw.  Glad everyone is healthy.  I love to tell this story.  One of my nieces looked at one of our newborns and said, "Look they have pretzel ears", next time take a long look they kind of do look like little pretzels. Enjoy Jane

Thanks everyone..can you believe I came down with the flu the day he was born..I haven't been able to see him since and never did get to hold him..hopefully I will feel better in a couple of days, I took this week off work so I could spend time with them.  Noel and Rob are doing so well, she said she hasn't changed his diaper yet.  Rob has done all of them..even the yuckie stinky ones.  I am kinda proud of that man!!..lol I am going to post some more info about the event..so take a look at the new post and sign up info. and Chris I promise to share pics soon...if I am well enough on Monday I will be at the hospital and hopefully have a pic or two by then.
