Thank Goodness for Grandma's!! My mom called around 11 this morning asking to have Gracie come spend the night.  So I swung by the house on the way to pick her up from preschool at noon, threw a few things in her backpack, picked her up, took her to gymnastics at 1 and was child-free by 2:30!  It's kinda political with the grannies here though so the other one will spend the night tomorrow night and we might get to go out again.  I went to JCPenney's this afternoon to use a gift card I had from Christmas and got a couple of shirts and a new more stylish workout set for the gym.  Not yet in the regular sizes but i'm in the smallest plus size shirts now!  I figure maybe by April or May and I'll be there!

Good luck on the gym hunt!

Aren't SF latte's the best???  I got an Nespresso machine for Christmas and could live on lattes! B: SF Vanilla Latte (8 g protein - 110 cals) S: SF Vanilla Latte (8 g protein - 110 cals) LOL L: 2 teasp of hummus (2 g protein maybe - 50 cals at most) S: Body Fortress Choc Protein Shake ( 30 g protein - 130 cals) D: 8 shrimps, 5 bites of rice with stewed tomato (12-15 protein - 100??cals) S: 2 choc cookies (BAD GIRL) (no protein to count - 200 cals!) UGH but they were good Now: SF Caramel Latte (8g protein - 110 cals) Some mornings I have a packet of high protein oatmeal but I am kinda burned out on it right now. Lunch is usually the meat off a burger or chicken breast from where ever I stop for the girls while running between lessons. I also drink hot tea all day and just love the Fuze beverages!

Hello and I'm jealous! Ya just gotta tell me more about this Nespresso machine!   Do you use regular syrups or S/F?  I don't really like the S/F very well but do need to restock them so I will quit cheating.  My latte's are very elementary where I just pour 8 ounces of milk into a large mug give it a shot of syrup, add three sweet-n-low and then fill it the rest of the way with coffee (preferably Kona or something really good).

When I do decide to eat breakfast I have three regulars that I rotate;  1) omelet w/ cheese 2) Cottage cheese w/ pineapple 3) Kashi go lean (it has 9gr protein).  Most days though I piddle around and won't eat until around 1or so and then it's lunch time so I skip it. Nice to have you on board!

I just LOVE my machine. It came with a frother so we also get the frothy topping with the milk. I am drinking half reg and half decaf (rotate) so I don't bounce off the walls by noon. You can get one at www.nespresso.com . I have the c100 auto unit. Just drop in a capsule and hit the button! Perfect everytime. They are selling on ebay too. I use a cup of 2% milk, 5 pumps (2 tbs) of SF syrup and 3 splendas. This goes in a monster mug with the coffee. Totals about 14 ounces. I could honestly just live on 4 or 5 lattes and nothing else. I have to remember to eat, which is strange. I do find that I can snack without noticing it, so I try to not just blindly nibble. Oh those salty/crunchy carbs so down so easy... This morning I have had 1 SF Caramel Latte (8 grams protein - 110 cals). Heading for a cup of hot tea now and maybe something to eat... or not.... I really don't see anything that is jumping up and down in the fridge chanting eat me eat me.. The SF syrups are ok. I don't notice alot of difference in taste since they are used in something else. They smell wonderful!  I found that Starbucks sells the SF for 6.95 / 33 ounces which is about the best price. Walmart/Sams has DaVinci for 4.37 / 24 ounces but the flavors are limited in SF. Now if I wanted tutti fruity or bubblegum I would be set! The kids get that for snow cones. Sherryl Started @ 370 8/23/06 Current @ 173 and holding pretty steady....  would like to end up around 150.

I never thought about trying Starbucks for syrups.  I usually go to one of those liquor/party/gourmet stores for my syrups.  The only one I can't get there regularly is the English Toffee.  I have looked online at a couple of syrup sources and will probably end up ordering a case of various syrups that way. I'm going to check out the Nespresso.com out now! Thanks!
