am home and I am in so much pain!!

any suggestions on the pain part, I am taking liquid loratab, but it don't help that long, havign a hard time with one insicion, lower right belly,lost of soreness. was in hopsital from tuesday evening till friday evening, I was nauseated a couple days, one incision came open and lost about a pint of blood, maybe more, blood count went down ,but ut came back up, any suggestions, how to sit, or lay in bed???

I slep in my reclinner for a while & when I got to bed I was all propped up in bed ,keep the pain meds in at all times even if you dnt need them so when you do it wont hurt so bad for them to help you ,take it easy for a while no bending or pulling anything or lifting you had a major surgery take youre time ,& sip sip sip your water best of luck

Oh -- I am so sorry you are having problems.  I have done so well, I just expected you too as well.  I kep****ching for you to post about how you were doing.  I just hate that you have had such a bad time.  It will get better!  Everyday you will notice that you feel a little better.  TAKE IT EASY!  Just rest, get your protein, vitamins and water in, no matter what.  Walk when you can as well.  Best of luck for a speedy recovery!

I forgot -- I have used a heating pad and pillow over my stomach every time I lay down.  The heat takes away the pain.  I did not take my pain meds because they did not agree with me so I've depended on the heating pad for comfort.  It really helped me! GOOD LUCK!

I slept in my recliner for about 2 weeks and I used the heating pad too. I also made sure that I kept a pillow over my stomach. Did you get a binder, that helped a bit but breathing was difficult. Good luck, I hope you feel better....
