Humana- Kentucky employees plan

Thank you for the response.  Where do you live and what doctor are using?

I also have Humana and am a Ky employee. My paperwork went to insurances yesterday and am waiting not so patiently for a reply.

Sorry it took me so long to reply... I got the call on April 1st believe it or not lolol My surgery is next Friday! yeaaaaaaaaaaaaahh! They told me at St Joe that the insurance takes three days for state insurance... that is after you have had all the testing and the 6 month diet... then they send everything in to the insurance company... I started this back last summer and felt like it might have taken a long time but when I got my date it seems like it flew by!

just reading thru message board--so glad you asked question in regards to humana- for state employees.. employed thru state---just started on the road for lap band---attended seminar---i have met with dietician and therapist at norton---scheduled to see dr in may, 2008--trying to see my family physician on monthly basis..started in february..your questions (with replies from other state workers) very helpful and informative... thanks

You are right there with me!!  I started my appointments with my PCP in Feb. or March... I can't remember now.. I think it was March.  Anyway, I have done the seminar and the bariatric center stuff. Have an appointment with the surgeon this week (Friday 4/25) We will have to keep with each other's progress. Who is your surgeon?
