Finally!

I got my date!   April 14th.  Its and early 31st birthday present for me.  My family is moving all the plans for my b-day up a week to celebrate.  My wife even gave me a little free reign on golf and hitting the driving range before surgery since I won't be allowed to play again until at least June.  God has blessed me with good health and this will only be my 3rd surgery that I can remember and the most major I have had.   I am comforted by the thought of having such a great doctor and staff.  And that my wife will help lead me through all of this now that she is over a month out.  I want to thank everyone on here for their thoughts, prayers, stories, and support.  And move over, the big guy needs some room on the bench!

Congrats on getting your date! You and my husband will being having surgery the same week!  He's scheduled for the 17th.

I'm sure you are just like my husband and are eager to get back into the sports!  LOL....that's if you call drag ATV's and nascar camp a sport!  He is looking forward to having the energy to actually be good at raquetball once again too!

Yeah, most importaint on my list is to start looking fora new job.  They are revamping all of our roles and moving some support and development to India.  I want to get everything lined up before I get any notice.

Thanks Chan!  Congrats on your continuing loss!  Everyone on here have been such an insperation to me.

I am so excited for you, congrats!!!! My husband has one more weigh in for his 6month supervised diet...it's gone by fast I think (he may disagree)...I am hoping he gets his approval..then to be scheduled for surgery.  I am looking forward to walking through the process with him...I do think he is going to be a challenge.  (a true understatement). Good luck my friend!!!!

Brenda, that’s wonderful about your husband.  I have a feeling he will do well, he has the best support person in the world living right there.

That is wonderful news.  You will have such wonderful support at this office.  Taryn is the greatest.  Brenda is always there anytime I need her.  I can't say enough about Dr. S and his wonderful skill and bedside manner. Good luck!!
