things for your hospital stay
Hi, Gina! I don't remember getting a "list" of things to take with me, so I wasn't real sure WHAT to take, but here's my experience: I did take a nice comfortable robe so that when I went walking through the hallways at the hospital, I would look decent. I did NOT take a pair of house slippers or flip flops which would have come in handy. Hospital gave me some cute little non-skid bottom socks that I wore on my several little walks. Oh, and you might want to take the toothpaste! Hubby was there to help, which helped made the experience a good one. I wish you the BEST next week with your surgery!!!

1. think I wish I had and ended up using my mom's - Pond's clean sweep - cleansing and make-up removing towelettes just so much easier than trying to wash your face at the sink with an IV pole 2. didn't use - 75% of the stuff I brought

I took CD player and magazines never touched either one. Watched TV and tried to sleep between walks. DO take lip gloss. I was not allowed to drink anything till after the leak test the next day and my lips were very dry and it helped. I took a robe and PJ's and felt much better about walkng the halls. Don't forget the slippers. I was told that a pillow from home is a good idea. I didn't take one but it's a thought. Good Luck, I was very pleased with the treatment I received at KDMC. pan head
