Anyone Have lap band at Nortons?

My surgeon is Dr. Larson. He's also done my husband's (4/17), mother's (2005) and soon will do my father's band (6/23) as well! He's a great doctor and doesn't seem to have as long a waiting list as the bigger names. According to the website though he's done 1400+ bands though. He's older and somewhat eccentric in personality but is always pleasant! He is also the only downtown Norton's doc that has his own dietician that you see at EVERY appointment. The other docs will refer you back to the bariatric group or answer your questions on their own. I recommend Dr. Larson without hesitation!
My sister's surgeon is Dr. Tanner and she loves him! She had RNY but he does lap band too. She started out with Dr. Rodriguez and really liked him but he couldn't do the RNY laproscopically for her (I think only Allen and Tanner do the lap version of RNY). She also likes Allen but he is hard to get an appointment with since he has such high demand.
I'm confident that any Norton's surgeon you pick will be a great surgeon! The key in my book is to find one that you like since you will be seeing him several times each year!
