Has my band slipped???

I was sick yesterday and last night throwing up hard, I started having shooting pains through the top of my stomach all the was through my back.  It was unberable especially when I breath deep.  I thought I might be having a heart attack.  I have  heital hernia I have never had any problems with it,  it feels like stabbing in  my middle back.  Its Saturday, my surgeon isnt in til Monday and its two hrs away.  Should I go the hospital?  Anyone had this happen??

  HI lisa, first thing you need to do is take a deep breath.. You have probably irritated the hell out of your tummy and band... Go on liquids instantly after throwing up to give your tummy time to calm down.. I had this a week ago, I had really upset my throat and tummy and my pcp and I thought had even slipped my band It was so red and swelling.. It took me a week on liquids to calm everything down.. Call your surgeon's on call service and ask questions. They will calm your fears too...  When in doubt go liquids and call the doctors.. thats what you paid them for....    Good luck dawn

I feel so much better I dont know what it was..I have lost 21 p so far. yeah mee.... Its so weird..  I still dont know how to do the ticker.....
