More Inspiration

Last November, I had the honor of participating in a Bariatric Fashion Show that is hosted by the hospital where I had my lap band surgery.  I found out at our support group meeting this past weekend, that they uploaded videos from the event onto the hospital web site.  At the trade off of my anonymity online, I'd like to share it with ya'll.  There are many inspiring stories within our group.  What really amazes me is that I made it through the fashion show with makeup intact.  I kept getting teary-eyed listening to everyone else's testimonies!   http://www.stvhs.com/east/services/weightloss_testimonial.as p The bariatric program at St. Vincent's East, in Birmingham, AL, is awesome.  Participating in the fashion show was one of the highlights of my year, and the video is something that I will treasure forever.   Keep your dreams alive.  LIFE IS GOOD! You were right those are very inspiring videos/testimonials.  They are amazing people to go for what is becoming one of the top preformed surgeries in the world..It inspires me to keep going and hoping for my surgery.

Lee Ann, I agree.  I saw this on the main lap band board and was truly inspired.  I hope everyone will take time to watch this.  I even put the web page on my Favorites, so I can go back another time and watch more of these great success stories.  Thanks for sharing this with the KY board- we can all use the inspiration.  I came on board early this morning thinking that I have SO MUCH to do today that I just didn't have time to make it to the gym.  As soon as I sign off here, I'm heading out!  The doors open at 5:30 and I'm on the way.  Have a great day!!!
