hope to get approved

hi all i went to see the surgen to day i like dr larson they are going to try to get me approved so i can have the gastric bybass i have medicaid hope they can get me approved i need this for me and my health he told them to start my pre op what does that mean i have already had my stress test and echo and blood work what ealse do they mean thank for listen i have copd asma acidreflux depression and other health problems

Well I went to kdmc for my surgery, so it may be different where you are going. some of the things I had to do was. see a psych. gallbladder test, mammogram, pap smear. endoscopy, heart dr. and if you think you have sleep apnea that test also. blood work. seeing your family dr. for 6 months straight, and don't miss an appt, you may have to start over, I did. and see the nut every month for 6 months. that is some of the thinks i had to do. oh I just looked through my old papers. and you also have to do an exercise evaluation, or atleast I did. good luck, and if I can bve of anymore help, just drop me a line.                                                             Lisa
