What to expect?

Just wondering what I can expect on my first visit to the Dr. Tanner on Aug 8th? What happens from there? I am not sure! I am getting very excited!

    Your first visit with Dr Tanner is actually an appt for him to gather more information about  you and for you to meet  with and gather more information about the procedure that you have selected.  I also have humana. I had not met my yearly deductible and I paid this amount at his office  my first appt.  His office staff then starts process for insurance approval and working with you to get your test(s) completed for surgery. GOOD LUCK

How long did it take you to get your surgery date after your first Apt? 

My first appt with Dr Tanner was on May 16th, By the 2nd week in June, i had received letter stating the insurance had approved surgery and  i had to complete the cardiology and pulmonary test{s}... surgery date given after my 2nd appt in july....hope every thing goes smoothly for you... cathy...
