I have medicaid i just finished up my nutrional classes all my testing is in execpt for my pap smear which should be in by wednesday of next week how long did it take you to get medicaid approval for your surgery im so excited and ready for this

did they tell you that is all you need, is your pap??  no more nut classes?? when I got my last test in, they told me on the phone that day, so more than likely you are already approved. lets hope so.  I found out when I called to see if they finally had all my records they needed and she said yes and you are approved, so good luck

Congrats on making progress toward surgery.  I know the wait can be difficult.  Not sure about the time frame for your insurance.

how many classes did you have ? are those sched. after stress test, endoscope and gallbladder scan. i have talked once to the nut.

i completed my 6month monitored diet classes they are scheduled once a month also had to see my regular dr once a month and bring drs notes of my progress  and they said the next step is inusrance approval then another 3 hr evaulation with shrink nut etc they said it was similar to the first 3 hr one just a little different then that same day i can call and schedule my last dr visit and get my surgery date at that visit
