Sears, Dr Allen, poopie day
Ok lest's starts with Dr Allen.......all went well until I had to weigh in. I had not lost 7 like I had hoped...only five. ( I know, I know...5 is still good in three weeks) Anyway...Jen and Dr A came in and he asked how i was and I told him I was feeling good til I got weighed and now I felt like my bubble got popped! I asked him about the amount in my band and he had me get on the table. When he went to put in the needle he had to fish...and I mean fish for it like he did when it had flipped! I wsa starting to panic when he said "there it is..." So he does his thing and tells me there I go I have 4cc in my band. He said one went in at the revision, one went in at the beginning of the month and he put two in today. He told me to go to the window and sched my next appt for 4-6 weeks out from today. (That was the first time I was told to schedule an appointment for a next fill. I sipped my water then I headed straight to the scheduler and scheduled an appointment for four weeks away. I stopped and got a tea...yes a sweet tea from McD's and sipped on it all day. No problems. I stopped at Red Lobster to eat...a treat for myself. I got lobster bisque and salad w/ baby shrimp. I had three bites of salad...all 10 baby shrimp and 1/2 my bowl of soup and was stuffed! Restriction....possibly. I am keeping my fingers crossed!
Next came Sears. The store manager never came out to the service center for one thing. I had to sched an appt with her to get my tires even looked at and then she did not bother to come out and address the problem. She stuck this guy (the only one working the counter and they were busy today!) with me and he had to call goodyear and try to get them to stand behond their tires. they refused and said it was all on Sears. I called the manager inside the store and told her what the deal was and that as far as I was concerned i bought them from Sears and the warraties, so Sears should honor this. She talked to the counter guy and after a few minute he said he could put me in a set of BF Goodrich for $158.....No way. The tires I had originally gotten were almost $100 a piece and after two years they were dissinigrating from dry rot, one had a steel belt coming apart ( it was made in 2001)and they had not been driven even 20,000 miles yet and only two years old. ABC news did a big expose on companies selling old tires as new...check into it...it is a real eye opener! Anywho.....I looked at the screen and saw the tires were only $79 but the labor was $79. I told the guy that if they would not charge me labor since I was out of my spare now and would have to replace it and also was without the use of my van for a month and a half, and was put off on getting this resolved for a month...I would pay the $79 for the tires and be out of their hair. He called the non existant manager and she finally agreed. They also took the warranty for the tires and road hazzard and transferred it to the new set. Could not have asked for better! And all these tires were manufactured in 2008! he made sure and I doubled checked. Neither of us want to see the other again. He was nice as he could be and I apologized for starting off nasty to him...he did not make the tires nor cause me the problems...he was only the solution. Three hours later I was on my way....So that was a good day! Just stressful!
P.S. I did go to Value City...they got in a mega shipment of Aeropostle and American Eagle stuff and it is priced great! Almost everything in the store is on sale! Check it out! I got the girls some stuff for Christmas. Burlington Coat Factory is still clearancing out stuff.....i love their plus size stuff in juniors and womens! VC had alot of cute stuff in plus sizes as well!
