I'm usually not a procrastionator (sp) but I haven't bought my vitamins yet.  First I was going to get the Bariatric Advantage vitamins, then someone told me I should get Building Blocks, then someone else swears by the New Celebrate Vitamins, and then yet again someone else told me that I shouldn't waste my money on a bariatric vitamin when I can take one like Centrum chewables and get the same results.   What does everyone think???  I know I need a Multi-vitamin, a sublinqual B12, Calcium Citrate, maybe a Iron.  Anything else??

I know RNY patients need more....
Hopefully someone else will chime in to help!

My surgeon suggested that I take prenatal vitamins...it has everything you need.  I use OneSource Prenatal.  You will have plenty of time to pick up some vitamins between now and then.  Good luck on your upcoming surgery!
At Goal! 165 pounds gone forever! Thank you Lord!

Prior to surgery, I took a One-A-Day for Women and a Biotin.

Since surgery, I have used Opti-Source bariatric (1 chewable 4 x's a day).  They taste good and so far my labs have all been good with no deficiencies.

Everyone is different and every Dr. has their own recommendations.  Go with what feels right for you!

I just bought the Centrum Chewables and they are totally nasty and disgusting.  I'm gonna try to find something else too.   Eewwww!
