Good Sunday morning!

I ended up cleaning out the basement when I dug out the halloween stuff. go figure...always something to stay busy with. Better than eating. i finally figured out it was the new meds that are making me sick. I stopped them needless to say! My insurance won't pay for the ones that worked because they are new and so expensive. I have to try two others first and rule them out before they will consider it. So one down and one to go! Today I will put out the decorations. Found some I got last year after the holiday and so need to add them into the mix! We get hit so hard that night that I started buying candy three weeks ago and stock piling it in the freezer. Nothing in there anyway since the power outage! I think we have 20 bags or so. I ran out last year and hate to turn any kid away so I am making sure I have enough. I have to hide it in there from all of us! Out of sight...out of mind.  I have also gathered up alot of Braedyn's stuff to take to Once Upon A child on Tuesday before the meeting. Whatever money I get from it I will use for his Christmas. I have already bought him a couple things. The girls just want money to shop with at the after Christmas sales. Fine by me. I still will get a couple things for them to open though. Everyone has to have a present! I know it seems early to be thinking about Christmas, but I have to buy a little at a time or there won't be one.
I have two girls home for a couple weeks due to me catching them smoking so they will be hard at work cleaning house today! I am sure they will be thrilled when they get the news! Everyone is still asleep....nice and quiet morning for me!  So far!  We drove to French Lick and had dinner with Lachelle and her family and Michelle and her hubby (they are on the IN board) last night. My kids of course were po'd they had to go but I gave them the choice of going or me hiring a sitter for them. Its gotten that bad!  Oh well...today is a new day and hope to accomplish alot! Keeps me busy and away from food! Enjoy the day people! the colors outside are beautiful.

ohh no LeeAnn!!! That suxs that you caught them smoking. Could that be why Sarah isnt getting any better??
    I hear you on the christmas shopping... Im thinking I might tell my brother that  we should buy our kids gifts from my sisters boys, so my sister doesnt have too.. She is really struggling and I dont want the kids to have to not exchange because of it.. it will help her and keep the kiddo's happy...
   Still trying to figure out how to broach the subject to them... im home today updating my home page here and then cleaning cleaning cleaning...

Why not pick something that each kid wants that is inexpensive like crayons, coloring books, etc...and she could do it for your daughter and your brothers kids. We do craft boxes as secret santa gifts for a couple families that are struggling as well. It gives the kids something to do and who doesn't like a new box of crayons! My kids still color...don't tell them I told ya that! We go to the dollar store and get all the stuff really cheap. She could do a small one for your daughter and a little bigger one if your brother has more than one child. I am sure she would be relieved if you suggested this. I bet she is worrying about the same thing! My younger sister and I are the only ones of us three girls that have kids. My oldest buys for all four but has no kids. So we always try to get her something....even if it is a framed picture or candle...she appreciates everything because the girls pick it out. We all put a limit on the spending years ago and that has saved all of us alot of worrying! Just an idea!

I started shopping for Christmas in July as things went on clearance at Wal-mart.  I always start early.  But, there have been times that I forget I bought this or that and find out at Christmas I have more presents than necessary.  It's a good thing that my kids birthdays are Jan, Feb., and March, because I just save the extras for then!  LOL! 
Thanks to Lee Ann, my halloween decorations were put out yesterday!  (Thanks for the inspiration, Lee Ann!)  Now, I have to clean my house.  So, I'll probably send the kids outside to play and get some cleaning done.

My christmas is done for Angie and hubby and kids- we bought 1 big thing for the whole family a Wii and the Mariokart game.  I still have to buy Nysiah something since she cant play Wii.  For Bobbi she has been wanting a GPS so I caught one on sale.   I still have to buy for bother mothers mine and his mom.  Then I am done.....
