Tomorrow
I have an appointment to see my surgeon, Dr. Velcu. I am excited to hopefully get some tests run, and figure out if my pouch is A-OK. I have mega heartburn and I hope I can get some prescription strength acid reducer .. LoL I don't even know if that is the proper term for it..
Leslie, Lisa, Holli- I will see you guys (and anyone else who shows up) on Saturday. Holli, I will bring that book for you then if you still want it.

Update from today:
Okay I saw her and all went well. I also got to see the NUT. and she was pretty awesome. She has a theory that the weight gain may be attributed to the body adjusting living on so little calories. Then once I started introducing new foods and got slightly above the norm, it freaked out and held onto the lbs.
For now, I will keep a food journal and email it to the nut in 2 weeks. I am to weigh myself once a week and I will see Dr. Velcu in 4 or so weeks. She also said exercise to the point I break a sweat. I hate to sweat. Exercise was never, ever my strong point. Dr. Velcu also said my pouch was so small during surgery they worried about complications from not getting enough nutrition... Leave it to me to prove 'em wrong.. If in 4 or so weeks my weight isn't declining, then i will have the Upper GI as it is possibly my pouch and old stomach have grown back together.
Time will tell, I suppose. Thanks guys for the well wishes ... it means a lot. This stuff is sooo easy to get depressed about but I'm going to keep my head up and NOT go in panic mode.
Hope to see everyone tomorrow,
Katrina
