Can dry heaving slip the band?
Forgive me for the more disgusting parts of this story but I have a question...my beagle ate one of those chemical hand warmer packs which caused him to puke up evrything in his stomach. In the process of cleaning up this considerable mess, I got a severe case of the dry heaves and my stomach hurt (in the area I imagine the band to be for over an hour. I feel ok now but I am a little worried. Can dry heaving cause band slippage? I haven't had my first fill yet so it is probably fairly loose.
Any ideas?

John I think you are ok, you proably irritated the esohpagus more than anything and it may be swollen so you might want to do liquids tonight warm ones especially like hot tea, decaff coffee or sugar free hot chocolate. Start mushy again tomorrow if you are up to mushy or solids
How is the doggie???? Hope ok

I owed it to myself to research the duodenal switch before consenting to any other weight loss surgery and so do you. Check out DSFacts.com and DuodenalSwitch.com for more information. Remember think twice, cut once, revisions are risky and revision surgeons are rare.
