Hey Holli,
The best one's I've found with lower sugar (I always check since my sis is RNY and has trouble getting in all her protein) is the South Beach Living cereal bars. I'm talking about the smaller ones you find in the cereal aisle not the bigger meal replacement ones.
Here's the counts:
Peanut butter flavor:
140 calories
5 fat
15 carb (6g sugar)
10 protein
Cinni Rasin flavor:
140 calories
5 fat
15 carb (7 sugar)
10 protein
They make a chocolate one but I think it tastes nasty so I dont have it to give you the counts but I bet it's pretty much the same.
Can you handle that much sugar? My sis can up to about 15g and then she starts to have issues.

Of course I eat protein bars! lol
There are lots of good ones out there -but if you need the protein, you can't beat the Pure Protein Bars from Wal-mart - as far as the sugar/carb to protein ration goes! I use them as my staple protein bars but use the South Beach ones as "treats" - meaning I eat them but not as often!
If you check out www.revivalsoy.com they also have some good protein bars!
