Stupid Stupid Stupid Me
Okay- I have committed to this challenge and come heck or high water I will do my best to meet my goals....but WHAT WAS I THINKING???? I ask my teen age daughter that question at least 10 times a week.. (WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?) and now it is my turn to ask myself...
In the 8 weeks of this challenge I will be spending one week in Baltimore MD at a conference, 5 days in San Antonio TX at a conference and 4 days in Los Angeles at a conference...WHAT WAS I THINKING?????
Help! I need advice for how to succeed at this while traveling and without the security of my own cooking!
I know I can do it; but any "tricks" anyone knows of for snacking right and eating right and getting in the exercise while stuck in business travel for weeks on end?
Thanks, Sonja

ok... Its taken me twice to load the page to type this.. igh!!!
here's your goals so I can break it up
"I am at a place where the scale is not moving very much each week and my doc is thrilled at a pound a week, so I chose to avoid scale numbers when setting goals.
Goal one: Do some kind of resistance exercise at least 4 times a week
Goal two: Get at least 30 minutes of bike riding (either on my trainer or outside) at least 3 times a week
Goal three: Keep my protein intake higher than my carb intake 5 out of 7 days
So....there they are...out in the open for ALL the world to see!
Sonja
Ok. So I can see you suceeding very well with those goals traveling or not..
First off, see if you can stay in accomodations where there are gyms?? for goal #1
goal two will be a lil harder but maybe on the weeks your home try to do more days to make up for the weeks your not home?
goal three is manageable.. but your own snacks and water for your rooms.. If you have a refrig in there buy you yogurt smoothies, etc..
Hope that helpss. I have a headache and im not sure im making sense and NOT using spell check!!
