I am excited for you! Have you done all you pre-op testing yet? How did that go?

I have all my clearences in such as: cardio, stress test, blood work, ekg, chest xray, plumanarory function, upper GI.  I hope that is all.  Do you think there is more testing that I have to do?  I go meet the MD on the 16th of this month......

Measure yourself i didnt and now i regret it sometimes we  lose inches and not pounds.
So besure to measure and take chapstick with you to the hospital.
You are in great hands with DR.TOM he is so wonderful.

I know you guy's are going to laugh, but I have already packed and Chapstick was the 1st thing in the bag..  Someone else said to get gas strips..  Do they really help?  I didn't get any yet. Any other suggestions?

Flip flops for the shower and pillow to hold on the ride home.........helps cushion the tummy!
Best of luck to you!

I was exactly like you - I would have done it with 24 hours notice or less because I wanted it "yesterday" !  I'm so happy for you - I don't remember needing anything in particular while I was in the hospital other than maxi-pads (because my period started) and lip balm.  Maybe warm socks?  Good luck to you!
